Yoodle Pro Terms
Last updated: 30 October 2026
These Yoodle Pro Terms ("Pro Terms") apply to anyone who creates a Pro profile at pro.yoodle.ca ("Pro", "you"). They add to the Yoodle Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which also apply to you. If anything conflicts, these Pro Terms apply to your Pro profile. Yoodle is operated by ROKEDGE INC ("we", "us"). By creating or saving a Pro profile you agree to these Pro Terms.
1. Your business information is public
- The business address you enter is shown in full on your Pro profile and on the Yoodle map, to anyone who uses Yoodle, together with your name, business name, trades, description and travel area.
- Use the address that appears on your invoices or business documents. Only enter an address you are allowed to publish.
- If you don't want your address shown, don't create a Pro profile — or delete it at any time (Settings ⚙ → Delete my Pro profile).
2. Accurate trades and licences
- List only the trades you are qualified and allowed to do.
- Licence and insurance details you give us must be true and current. You must tell us (by updating your profile) if they change, lapse or are suspended.
- We may check licence numbers with the issuing body (for example Skilled Trades Ontario, the Electrical Safety Authority or TSSA). A "Verified licence" badge means we checked the number at that time — it is not a guarantee of your work.
- A licence is optional today. We may require a valid licence to activate or keep a Pro profile in the future, with notice.
3. Your work, your responsibility
- Quotes, contracts, invoices and payments are between you and the customer. Yoodle is not a party to them and does not process payments between you and your customers.
- You are responsible for complying with the law, including licensing, permits, building and electrical codes, insurance, WSIB, and taxes such as HST.
- Yoodle does not employ you, supervise your work, or guarantee jobs or leads.
4. Listing period
- Your Pro listing stays live for one year and renews when you save your profile or resume your listing. You can pause or delete it at any time.
5. Reviews and recommendations
- Don't post, buy, trade or ask for fake reviews, ratings or recommendations, or offer anything in exchange for positive ones.
- Don't review yourself or ask family or business partners to do so.
6. Contacting customers
- Use the contact details people give you only to discuss their job. No spam, unsolicited marketing or sharing their information.
7. Removal
- We may hide, suspend or remove your Pro profile — without affecting your regular Yoodle account, unless the Terms of Use also require it — if information is false, a licence is invalid, we receive credible complaints, or you break these Pro Terms or the Terms of Use.
8. Paid plans
- Free stays free. A basic Pro listing is free. The paid Pro plan is an optional subscription, billed monthly or yearly in Canadian dollars, plus applicable taxes (GST/HST). What it includes and its price are shown in the app before you subscribe.
- Who can subscribe. You need an approved Pro profile and a business address with a postal code.
- Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't see or store your full card number. You can update your card and download invoices from the billing page in the app, and add your HST number to your invoices.
- Automatic renewal. Your plan renews automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period, at your plan's price, until you cancel. For yearly plans we email a reminder before the renewal.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in the app. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, then your listing returns to Free. You can undo a cancellation until that date. We don't refund unused time, except where the law requires it.
- Switching to yearly takes effect right away: the unused part of your monthly plan is credited and the difference is charged immediately. The app shows the amount before you confirm.
- Switching to monthly takes effect at the end of the yearly period you've paid for, with no credit or refund.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, paid features stop until it is paid. Stripe will retry the payment and email you. If it still isn't paid, your subscription is cancelled and your listing returns to Free.
- Founder price. The first 10 paid Pros in each trade get a founder price. It stays the same for as long as your subscription stays active. If you switch between monthly and yearly, you keep a founder price only if founder pricing is still offered at the time. If your subscription ends, the founder price ends with it; if you subscribe again later, the regular price applies.
- Limited spots per area. We may limit the number of paid Pros per trade in each postal area (the first three characters of the postal code). While your subscription is active, you keep your spot. When it ends, the spot may go to the next Pro on the waitlist.
- Plan changes. We may add, change or retire plans and prices for new subscribers at any time. This doesn't change your current plan while it stays active. If we ever have to change your plan, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and you can cancel before the change.
- What we deliver. Features such as social media posts and the "Meet the Pro" video are produced by Yoodle on our own schedule; we choose the content, format and channels and may need your input (for example photos, or a time to film). The Meet the Pro video is included once per paid year only on a yearly founder plan, and you still get it if you cancel during that year; otherwise it is an optional paid extra. We don't guarantee views, leads, inquiries or jobs.
- Verification. Licence and/or business checks included with a plan require ID verification first, which is a separate, one-time, non-refundable $2.99 + tax purchase. A verified badge is not a guarantee of your work.
- Deleting your Pro profile or account. You must cancel your paid plan before you can delete your Pro profile or Yoodle account. Once it is cancelled you can delete right away; deleting ends your listing and its paid benefits immediately, with no refund for unused time. If a payment has failed, deleting on pro.yoodle.ca cancels the plan for you first.
- Removal by Yoodle. If we remove your Pro profile under section 7, your plan ends right away and we refund the unused part of the period you’ve paid for, pro-rated by day, to your original payment method.
9. Changes
- We may update these Pro Terms. We'll post the new version with an updated date and tell you in the app about significant changes; you may be asked to accept them again.
